How much does a custom home cost to build in Austin?
Published 2026 figures put Austin semi-custom homes at about $225 to $325 per square foot and full custom at $325 to $500, in hard construction costs, before land, site work and design fees. Those are published ranges, not a quote from us. Your price depends on your plan, lot and finishes.
Who designs the inside of the house?
Precise Custom Homes has an in-house interior designer who works with you on finishes, materials, textures and layout, and works hand in hand with our construction team so the plan is built the way it was drawn.
Will someone from Precise be on site during the build?
Yes. Our team takes a hands-on approach and is on site daily throughout the build to keep the quality where it should be.
Can you build more than one home on a lot?
Yes. On Holly St in East Austin we built three homes on one lot, each with its own pool and terrace, and on Montana St we built three more.
Do you build for companies and investors as well as families?
Yes. One company client has had us complete multiple new builds around Austin over more than three years, and we partner with private investors, co-investors, land partners and private lenders on new construction.
